It’s Easy To Trade LEGO Minifigures At LEGOLAND California!
Our kids love LEGO, and have acquired quite a collection of Minifigures from birthdays and Christmas’ past. A few years ago we learned that you can trade LEGO Minifigures at the LEGOLAND California Resort. It’s super easy, too!
If you have duplicate LEGO Minigures, or any Minifigures you no longer wish to keep, you can trade with any employee at the LEGOLAND California Resort with a Minifigure on their name tag. Trade with employees at LEGOLAND, SEA LIFE Aquarium, or at The LEGOLAND Hotel.
You can also trade LEGO Minifigures at select trading stations within LEGOLAND California. At the time this was written there were three trading stations at the Park, including one at the Dino Dig Store near Coastersaurus in the Dino Island area, another by the cashier at the Wild Wood Golf at Castle Hill, and a third at King’s Treasury, the treasure panning area, which is also at Castle Hill.
You can only trade LEGO Minifigures in increments of 3 per trading station. I’m not sure about the rules of trading with individual employees. From my experience, most don’t have more than two or three on their name tags at any one time anyway.
Our 6 year old son made his own LEGO name tag, and wears it when we go to LEGOLAND. He keeps at least one Minifigure on it, and he and his big sister bring ones they have that they wish to trade. It’s super easy, and they’ve been really lucky to find many that they’ve wanted including some of the characters from The LEGO Movie including Bad Cop and President Business.
